Since 2014, there has been a road bike group in our ADFC district association that meets regularly for rides. Within the ADFC, a road bike group is still something special. Our Wiesbaden initiative is the only one in Hesse so far.<\/b><\/p>\n

Regular road bike meeting on the banks of the Rhine in Biebrich<\/h2>\n

The road bike group meets:<\/p>\n

In the summer half-year usually 1-2 times a week on the banks of the Rhine in Biebrich (at the KD jetty\/level tower). Dates and routes will be distributed by e-mail in advance.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The starting point on the Rhine was also chosen to include road bike enthusiasts from Mainz. As a rule, 40 to 70 kilometers are driven on the after-work tours. In doing so, mainly flat routes are selected and larger inclines are avoided. The pace is moderate and also suitable for road bike beginners. It's about fun on fast wheels, not competition. Popular destinations are the Rheingau, the Ried, Rheinhessen and the Wiesbaden \"L\u00e4ndchen\".<\/p>\n

On the weekends, occasionally longer road bike trips are organised in the summer half-year. On the one hand, own tours are offered, which are led by active people from the road bike group. On the other hand, we also like to participate in the cycling tours (RTF) and cycling marathons of the cycling clubs.<\/p>\n

In the winter half-year (with suitable weather conditions) smaller road bike tours are driven

Regular road bike meeting in Mainz at Fort Malakoff<\/h2>\n

ADFC Rennradgruppe<\/h1>\n

Seit 2014 gibt es in unserem ADFC-Kreisverband eine Rennradgruppe, die sich regelm\u00e4\u00dfig zu Ausfahrten trifft. Innerhalb des ADFC ist eine Rennradgruppe immer noch etwas Besonderes. Unsere Wiesbadener Initiative ist bislang die einzige in Hessen.<\/b><\/p>

Regelm\u00e4\u00dfiger Rennradtreff am Biebricher Rheinufer<\/h2>

Die Rennradgruppe trifft sich:<\/p>

Im Sommerhalbjahr in der Regel 1-2 mal pro Woche am Biebricher Rheinufer (am KD-Anleger\/Pegelturm). Termine und Routen werden vorher per E-Mail verteilt.<\/strong><\/p>

Der Startort am Rhein wurde auch gew\u00e4hlt, um die Rennradfreunde aus Mainz einzubeziehen. In der Regel werden bei den Feierabendtouren 40 bis 70 Kilometer gefahren. Dabei werden vorwiegend flache Strecken ausgew\u00e4hlt und gr\u00f6\u00dfere Steigungen vermieden. Das Tempo ist moderat und auch f\u00fcr Rennrad-Anf\u00e4nger geeignet. Es geht dabei um Spa\u00df auf flotten R\u00e4dern, nicht um Wettkampf. Beliebte Ziele sind der Rheingau, das Ried, Rheinhessen und das Wiesbadener \u201eL\u00e4ndchen\u201c.<\/p>

An den Wochenenden werden im Sommerhalbjahr vereinzelt l\u00e4ngere Rennradausfl\u00fcge veranstaltet. Zum einen werden eigene Touren angeboten, die die von Aktiven aus der Rennradgruppe gef\u00fchrt werden. Zum anderen fahren wir auch gerne bei den Radtourenfahrten (RTF) und Radmarathons der Radsportvereine mit.<\/p>

Eine richtige Saisonpause gibt es nicht.<\/p>
