What is bicycle coding?<\/h6>\n

Bicycle coding is a system developed by the police and used nationwide to protect its property from loss. A code consisting of the encrypted address and the initials of the owner is visibly engraved into the bicycle frame and sealed against corrosion. Removing this code requires a lot of effort.<\/p>\n

Why should you have your bike coded?<\/h6>\n

If you have your bike coded, long fingers make life difficult. Without proof of ownership, they cannot get far with the two-wheeled stolen goods: the coding immediately shows who is the owner of the stolen wheel. The coding therefore makes it more difficult than just resale, especially via flea markets or via the Internet.<\/p>\n

The sale value of the stolen goods decreases significantly, while the degree of deterrence and the inhibition threshold for potential thieves increases. As experience has shown, coding can significantly reduce the number of thefts and increase the rate of reconnaissance.<\/p>\n

Where and when can I have my bike coded?<\/h6>\n

The ADFC Wiesbaden \/ Rheingau-Taunus usually offers bicycle coding at the bicycle exchanges. All upcoming coding dates can be found at the bottom of this page.<\/p>\n

Our cooperation partner \u2018DER RADLER\u2019 can be contacted from April to October on the 1st of each year. Have your bike coded on Saturday of the month by appointment. Contact: 0611 98819555, der-radler\u200d@bauhaus-wiesbaden.de

Here you will find a Form coding order<\/a>, which you can bring with you twice and pre-filled and thus shorten your waiting time.<\/p>\n

How much does it cost to have my bike coded?<\/h6>\n

The prices for coding are as follows:
10,- EUR for ADFC members (against ID)
15,- EUR for non-members.<\/p>\n

A separate coding of pedelec batteries is possible and is charged at 5 EUR extra.<\/p>\n

It is encoded with a nail embosser that resembles a needle printer, except that it writes on metal and not on paper.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, we cannot code wheels with carbon frames and leasing wheels.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Der ADFC Wiesbaden bietet regelm\u00e4\u00dfig Fahrradcodierungen an. Hier erkl\u00e4ren wir, was die Codierung ist und warum es sinnvoll ist, sein Fahrrad codieren zu lassen.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Was ist eine Fahrradcodierung?<\/h6>

Fahrradcodierung ist ein von der Polizei entwickeltes und bundesweit angewandtes System, um sein Eigentum vor Verlust zu sch\u00fctzen. Ein Code, bestehend aus der verschl\u00fcsselten Adresse und den Initialen des Eigent\u00fcmers, wird in den Fahrradrahmen deutlich sichtbar eingraviert und gegen Korrosion versiegelt. Diesen Code wieder zu entfernen bedarf eines gr\u00f6\u00dferen Aufwandes.<\/p>

Wieso sollte man sein Fahrrad codieren lassen?<\/h6>

Wer sein Fahrrad codieren l\u00e4sst, macht Langfingern das Leben schwer. Denn ohne Eigentumsnachweis kommen sie mit dem zweir\u00e4drigen Diebesgut nicht weit: Die Codierung zeigt sofort, wer der Eigent\u00fcmer des geklauten Rads ist. Die Codierung erschwert also mehr als nur den Weiterverkauf, insbesondere den \u00fcber Flohm\u00e4rkte oder via Internet.<\/p>

Der Verkaufswert des Diebesguts sinkt erheblich, w\u00e4hrend der Grad der Abschreckung und die Hemmschwelle f\u00fcr potenzielle Diebe steigt. Eine Codierung kann, wie die bisherige Erfahrung lehrt, die Zahl der Diebst\u00e4hle also deutlich senken und die Aufkl\u00e4rungsquote erh\u00f6hen.<\/p>

Der ADFC Wiesbaden \/ Rheingau-Taunus bietet in der Regel bei den Fahrradb\u00f6rsen die Fahrradcodierung an. Alle kommenden Codiertermine finden Sie unten auf dieser Seite.<\/p>

Was kostet es, mein Fahrrad codieren zu lassen?<\/h6>

Die Preise f\u00fcr das Codieren sind wie folgt:
10,\u2013 EUR f\u00fcr ADFC-Mitglieder (gegen Ausweis)
15,\u2013 EUR f\u00fcr Nicht-Mitglieder.<\/p>

Eine separate Codierung von Pedelec-Akkus ist m\u00f6glich und wird mit 5 EUR extra berechnet.<\/p>

Codiert wird mit einem Nagelpr\u00e4ger, der einem Nadeldrucker \u00e4hnelt, nur dass er auf Metall und nicht auf Papier schreibt.<\/p>

R\u00e4der mit Carbon-Rahmen und Leasingr\u00e4der k\u00f6nnen wir leider nicht codieren.<\/p>\n
