Ghost wheel reminiscent of killed cyclist<\/span><\/h1>\n

On 29.09.2025, a cyclist was fatally injured in an accident in Wiesbaden-Schierstein. In order to remind the deceased and to draw attention to the dangers for cyclists in road traffic, a ghost wheel was set up at the accident site.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The ghost bike was brought to Schierstein with a silent ride \u2013 a silent bicycle demonstration from Wiesbaden Central Station to the scene of the accident. At the scene of the accident, a vigil and minute of remembrance for the deceased took place. The ghost wheel remains permanently at the scene of the accident as a reminder and reminder that too little is invested in road safety.\u00a0<\/p>\n

We have tried to put our thoughts and feelings into words, which we present here in excerpts:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe ghost wheel we have set up here is a sign of our concern and at the same time an unmistakable signal. It is a memorial to a man who has been torn out of the midst of life. Our thoughts and deepest sympathy are with the family of the deceased.<\/p>\n

We grieve with their friends and colleagues, with their students and we feel with all those who now miss them.<\/p>\n

But this ghost wheel is more than just a place of grief. It is an urgent reminder \u2013 and a symbol of our demand:<\/p>\n

The people<\/b> must be included in transport planning precedence<\/b> be granted. Vision Zero<\/strong> \u2013 the vision of zero road deaths \u2013 must be implemented everywhere and consistently as the ultimate goal.<\/em><\/h6>\n

We do not want to accept the fact that people fall victim to road traffic every day.
Therefore, the pain and remembrance of the deceased are inextricably linked to this demand.\u201d<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Geisterrad erinnert an get\u00f6tete Radfahrerin<\/h1>

Am 29.09.2025 wurde eine Radfahrerin in Wiesbaden-Schierstein bei einem Unfall t\u00f6dlich verletzt. Um an die Verstorbene zu erinnern und auf die Gefahren f\u00fcr Radfahrende im Stra\u00dfenverkehr aufmerksam zu machen, wurde ein Geisterrad an der Unfallstelle aufgestellt.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

Das Geisterrad wurde mit einem \"Silent Ride\" - einer stillen Fahrraddemonstration vom Wiesbadener Hauptbahnhof bis zur Unfallstelle - nach Schierstein gebracht. Am Unfallort fand eine Mahnwache und Gedenkminute f\u00fcr die Verstorbene statt. Das Geisterrad bleibt dauerhaft an der Unfallstelle zur Erinnerung und Mahnung, dass zu wenig in die Sicherheit im Stra\u00dfenverkehr investiert wird.\u00a0<\/p>

Unsere Gedanken und Gef\u00fchle haben wir versucht in Worte zu fassen, die wir hier in Ausz\u00fcgen darstellen:<\/p>

\"Das Geisterrad, das wir hier aufgestellt haben, ist ein Zeichen unserer Betroffenheit und zugleich ein un\u00fcbersehbares Signal. Es ist ein Mahnmal f\u00fcr einen Menschen, der mitten aus dem Leben gerissen wurde. Unsere Gedanken und unser tiefstes Mitgef\u00fchl sind bei der Familie der Verstorbenen.<\/p>

Wir trauern mit ihren Freund:innen und Kolleg:innen, mit ihren Sch\u00fcler:innen und wir f\u00fchlen mit allen, die sie nun vermissen.<\/p>

Doch dieses Geisterrad ist mehr als nur ein Ort der Trauer. Es ist eine dringende Mahnung \u2013 und ein Symbol f\u00fcr unsere Forderung:<\/p>

Den Menschen<\/b> muss in der Verkehrsplanung Vorrang<\/b> einger\u00e4umt werden. Vision Zero<\/strong> \u2013 die Vision von 'Null Verkehrstoten' \u2013 muss als oberstes Ziel \u00fcberall und konsequent umgesetzt werden.<\/em><\/h6>

Wir wollen uns nicht damit abfinden, dass jeden Tag Menschen dem Stra\u00dfenverkehr zum Opfer fallen.
Deshalb sind der Schmerz und das Gedenken an die Verstorbene untrennbar verkn\u00fcpft mit dieser Forderung.\"<\/p>\n
