Wiesbaden, 06 February 2026 \u2013 Under the title \u2018Wiesbaden elects transport policy\u2019, a party check on the local elections took place on 4 February 2026 in the B\u00fcrgersaal of the Fresenius University of Applied Sciences. The ADFC Fahrrad-Club Wiesbaden\/Rheingau-Taunus had invited together with Wiesbaden neubewegung e.V., FUSS e.V. and the VCD. The event was filled to the last place with almost 200 guests.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Premiere for Wahl-Arena: entertaining and fair<\/h2>\n
The party check on transport policy was a premiere in Wiesbaden. Instead of a classic panel discussion, the organizers relied on a dynamic format that made political differences visible without polarizing the debate. A decisive success factor: A visible timer ensured that the exchange remained fair and that no party dominated the evening.<\/div>\n
The politicians agreed to the unusual formats. Among other things, there was a \u2018moneybag scenario\u2019 in which every politician was allowed to spend \u20ac100 million on a single mobility project in 45 seconds, a video player \u2018Hotspot Hauptbahnhof\u2019 as a reality check and basis for discussion, and a \u2018mobilogram\u2019 in which politicians physically positioned themselves in the room to provocative theses. In addition, the audience at the entrance was able to write down questions to the politicians, which were taken up in the context of a \u2018voter:in-letterbox\u2019.<\/div>\n

Scientific impulse and strong staff<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n
The evening was moderated by Dr. Isabella Buck (ADFC Wiesbaden\/Rheingau-Taunus). On the podium were: Marc Dahlen (CDU), Silas Gottwald (SPD), Daniel Weber (Volt), Daniel Winter (Die Linke), Martin Kraft (B\u00fcndnis 90\/Die Gr\u00fcnen) and Christian Diers (FDP).\u00a0 At the beginning, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Andr\u00e9 Bruns from the RheinMain University of Applied Sciences gave a short scientific impulse and focused on the question of what constitutes constructive transport policy from a technical point of view.\u00a0<\/div>\n

\"Mobility sprint\" for fair change<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n
In his final plea, Prof. Andr\u00e9 Bruns advocated a new \u2018Wiesbaden model\u2019 of transport policy: \u2018It is important that policymakers not only discuss measures and then believe that they know exactly for whom these measures are good. Instead, it would be important to invest in processes where people talk directly to citizens and businesses in need of mobility\", he recommended to politicians. \"A fair mobility policy needs formats where you can also get to know the interests of the other side and integrate them into good, sustainable solutions.\"<\/div>\n

Wiesbaden, 06. Februar 2026 \u2013 Unter dem Titel \u201eWiesbaden w\u00e4hlt Verkehrspolitik\" fand am 4. Februar 2026 im B\u00fcrgersaal der Hochschule Fresenius ein Parteien-Check zur Kommunalwahl statt. Eingeladen hatten der ADFC Fahrrad-Club Wiesbaden\/Rheingau-Taunus gemeinsam mit Wiesbaden neu bewegen e.V., FUSS e.V. und dem VCD. Die Veranstaltung war mit fast 200 G\u00e4sten bis auf den letzten Platz gef\u00fcllt.<\/strong><\/p>

Premiere f\u00fcr Wahl-Arena: unterhaltsam und fair<\/h2> Der Parteien-Check\u00a0zur Verkehrspolitik war eine Premiere in Wiesbaden. Statt einer klassischen Podiumsdiskussion setzten die Veranstalter auf ein dynamisches Format, das politische Unterschiede sichtbar machte, ohne die Debatte zu polarisieren. Ein entscheidender Erfolgsfaktor: Ein sichtbarer Timer sorgte daf\u00fcr, dass der Austausch fair blieb und keine Partei den Abend dominierte. Die Politiker lie\u00dfen sich geschlossen auf die ungewohnten Formate ein. So gab es unter anderem ein \u201eGeldsack-Szenario\", bei dem jeder Politiker in 45 Sekunden 100 Millionen Euro f\u00fcr ein einziges Mobilit\u00e4tsprojekt ausgeben durfte, ein Videoeinspieler \u201eHotspot Hauptbahnhof\" als Realit\u00e4ts-Check und Diskussionsgrundlage sowie ein \u201eMobilogramm\", bei dem sich die Politiker k\u00f6rperlich im Raum zu provokanten Thesen positionierten. Zudem konnte das Publikum am Eingang Fragen an die Politiker notieren, die im Rahmen eines \"W\u00e4hler:innen-Briefkastens\" aufgegriffen wurden.\n

Wissenschaftlicher Impuls und starke Besetzung<\/h2>\nDer Abend wurde moderiert von Dr. Isabella Buck (ADFC Wiesbaden\/Rheingau-Taunus).
