After-Work-Tour on 14.05.2024

Cycling clears your head.

Anyone who doubted it could test it on Tuesday, May 14 at one of the After Work bike tours of the ADFC in Wiesbaden. Once out of the inner city traffic, the car traffic quickly thinned and then disappeared completely, the legs became warm and the head – well, it became free. Hills and gradients are part of a bike tour in Wiesbaden, but no one is hunted during the ADFC tours. The slowest one sets the pace. And so Günni, the ADFC tour guide, led us from the train station through the Nerotal, past the Leichtweisshöhle to the Rabengrund. Constantly uphill, at a pleasant 20 °C through the green. At the peak of the tour, the Rettertbrunnen at Kisselborn awaited us with its refreshing, clear water. From there, the topology was hold for us and we whizzed downhill to the sociable conclusion of the tour at Café & Restaurant Leichtweiss.

The route was at the end 14 kilometers long, overcame 220 meters of altitude on trails with rarely more than 3 % Ascent, and we cycled them with an average of 13 km/h. The paths were good to ride with a normal trekking bike, one participant was on the road with a pedelec.
