Guided cycling tours with the ADFC

We want to inspire people for the bike and offer many bike tours to discover the surroundings. The bike tours are carried out by experienced tour guides, many of whom are certified ADFC tour guides. Our tour guides offer an interesting range of cycling tours: for families, for the less experienced, for the sporty, for recreational cyclists, for e-bike users, for road cyclists and many others. All adventure tours can also be ridden by e-bike. However, the speed depends on cyclists who do not have an e-bike!
With our e-bike tours The indicated level of difficulty refers to participation with an e-bike. Experienced cyclists can also participate in these tours without an e-bike. Provided, however, is a good condition.

Conditions of participation and interesting facts

  • All ADFC tours are provided with difficulty levels, route lengths and altitude information. If you have any questions about the tour, please contact the tour guide.
  • Adults and children (up to 16 years old accompanied by adults) can participate in the ADFC adventure tours on weekends. Only ADFC members can participate in the tours of the »ADFC race cyclists« and the »ADFC Wednesday cyclists« in Wiesbaden!
If you are not yet an ADFC member, you are welcome to take part in a free trial tour of the respective cycling groups. After that, however, you should decide to become a member of the ADFC. The benefits for ADFC members can be found at www.adfc.de
  • All ADFC tours are free. Additional costs, such as train rides, admission, etc. are indicated.
  • Participation in the tours is at your own risk. The road traffic regulations apply.
  • Everyone is responsible for road safety (control of their own bicycle, also in connection with alcohol).
  • We recommend that you bring weatherproof clothing, drinks, provisions, some money and a spare hose for each tour.
  • Registration is required for most tours. Please contact the tour guide
  • In individual cases, there may be short-term adjustments or cancellation of tours. Changes are communicated on our websites.
  • In extreme weather conditions, tours can also be shortened or modified. In addition, the tour guide can exclude participants from the tour, if this seems necessary for the further and safe course of the tour.
