CITY TRADELS: The whole of Wiesbaden is cycling!

Wiesbaden returns to CITY TRADE – from 31 May to 20 June: Thousands of people then cycle again – and collect as many bicycle kilometres as possible together. For the finale, there will be a colourful bike festival on the Dern’s premises – and a raffle with prizes worth a total of 2,500 euros!

At the CITY TRADELS it is about cycling, competition and team spirit, sustainable mobility, new experiences and health. It's about being on the bike as much as possible for 3 weeks. In Wiesbaden, the action is carried out by 31 May to 20 June 2026. No matter when, no matter where – mainly cycling: ‘Measuring with each other’ is the motto!

The registration on the CITY TRADEL App or via the website stadtradeln.de/wiesbaden It is very simple: Join a team or Create your own team – with colleagues, in the club, in the circle of friends – just take everyone with you!

As a school, you can SCHOOLS register – this runs in 2 categories for primary and secondary schools.

And then you gather together in the 3 weeks of action as many cycle kilometres as possible; for you, for your team and for a better quality of life in Wiesbaden!

Opening with transport director Andreas Kowol at the Schiller Monument (Warmer Damm, behind the Staatstheater)

Bike tour/ bike demo for adults & amp; small through the city center and the Nerotal to the cultural park at the slaughterhouse
Travel distance approx. 7-8 km – approx. 55 minutes, few inclines, accompanied by the police

with music, ice cream & coffee specialties and information about the STADTRADELN in the rear cultural park, Murnaustraße

at the foot of the Schierstein bridge and bridge to Mainz on the suspended bike bridge.
Tour through Mainz via Mombach and Neustadt – and via Theodor-Heuss-Brücke to Kransand in Kastel
from approx. 18:30/19 h - Bike party at Kransand in Kastel
Happy ending together with a cozy bike party for World Bike Day.

On June 12, politicians, bike fans and interested parties will meet at the Museum Wiesbaden for inspiration and exchange: It shows the impressive Documentary film "Cycling Cities“ by Ingwar Perovanovich. After the film, there is the opportunity for discussion and exchange.

Children- and family-friendly tour of about 45-60 minutes through Wiesbaden city center.

Happy end with picnic, ice cream cart and games. The children get the stamp on their KIDICAL MASS stamp card for 2026. (Transfer to the Rettbergsau possible, individual return trip.)
