ADFC Summer Festival was a great success!
High resonance, best bike weather and very good atmosphere ensured an all-round successful summer party
Under the best external conditions, around 60 members of the ADFC met on 17 August for the annual summer festival in the beer garden of the ‘Treibhaus’ in Wiesbaden-Klarenthal. More than half of those present joined one of the four feeder tours and thus already came to the party in the best mood.
At the beginning of the festival, Karoline Deißner from the board welcomed all those present and thanked all the active people who participated in one of the numerous ADFC initiatives last year. Without this support, the high presence of the ADFC in Wiesbaden and in the Rheingau/Taunus would not be possible. A special thanks went to all tour guides, who ensure a very attractive and highly demanded offer with their voluntary commitment!
In addition to the members, many ADFC colleagues from other groups were also guests. The board of the ADFC Landesverband Hessen was also represented, the ADFC Frankfurt and the ADFC Mainz-Bingen. Thus, the summer festival not only looked back on the many great events of the last months, but also discussed upcoming events and new ideas. For the new members present, the summer party offered a great opportunity to get to know each other.
The good response has clearly shown how important personal exchange is for many members. There will be another summer party next year. Especially since the ADFC Wiesbaden/Rheingau-Taunus will celebrate its 20th anniversary!
