The ADFC bicycle exchanges invite you to buy and sell used bicycles, parts and accessories. The bicycle exchanges always take place on Saturdays parallel to the legendary slaughterhouse flea market in the cultural park.

Safe with the pedelec - Dates 2026

Wiesbaden chooses transport policy: full house and exciting format

A huge success was the election arena of the 4 mobility associations in Wiesbaden on 4 February. Before the local elections, the aim was to make the transport policy positions of the parties transparent for voters.

2025: A brief review of an eventful year

ADFC cycling analysis: online survey launched!

The ADFC cycling travel analysis examines the cycling and excursion behaviour of people in Germany: Where do they go, how long are they on the road? The survey runs from October 24th to October 8th. December 2025 and lasts about 15 minutes.

Ghost wheel in Wiesbaden-Schierstein is reminiscent of killed cyclist

On 29.09.2025, a cyclist was fatally injured in an accident in Wiesbaden-Schierstein. At the scene of the accident, a "ghost wheel" reminds us of the deceased. It also stands as a memorial for the dangers for cyclists in road traffic.

Ghost wheel for killed cyclist - bicycle demonstration and vigil on 7 October

On 29.09.2025, a cyclist in Wiesbaden-Schierstein was fatally injured in a turning accident. In order to commemorate the deceased and to draw attention to the dangers for cyclists in road traffic, a commemorative event with the installation of a ghost wheel will take place on 7 October.

Walluf/Eltville, 21.05.2025 – Due to the installation of noise barriers along the railway line parallel to Wallufer Straße, a section of the popular long-distance cycle path R3 between Walluf and Eltville is expected to be closed until the end of summer.

Bike connection from Rüdesheim to Wiesbaden must be followed up

A continuous cycle connection, on which commuters, pupils and other cyclists make rapid progress along the Rhine rail between Rüdesheim and Wiesbaden in everyday traffic, is not in sight for the time being. We celebrate World Bicycle Day with you on June 3rd with a shared bike tour! Start is on June 3, 5:30 pm, at the main station in Wiesbaden. It goes over the Schiersteiner Bridge to Mainz, from there on over the Theodor-Heuss-Brücke to Kransand and over Biebrich back to Wiesbaden main station.

ADFC congratulates: 100,000th cyclist in Bertramstraße
