ADFC bike wardrobe met with great approval!

More than 200 cyclists use the free bike service at the Wiesbadener Stadtfest.

Thanks to the support of more than 20 volunteers of the ADFC Wiesbaden, a free bike wardrobe was once again offered at the Wiesbaden city festival. Thus, it was possible to park the bike safely in order to enjoy the festival relaxed and without worrying about the bike. Due to the great weather, the bicycle wardrobe enjoyed a great demand: at the end of the two days, the free service of over 200 cyclists was used!

In addition, the bicycle wardrobe offered a good opportunity to present the extensive offer of the ADFC Wiesbaden / Rheingau-Taunus to interested visitors of the city festival and to take suggestions. Particular attention was paid to the presentation of the results of the ADFC Cycling Climate Test 2024. Adhesive dots and written additions provided an opportunity to assess the 2024 results and to include missing aspects. In direct exchange, the ADFC learned a lot about the wishes and concerns of Wiesbaden cyclists.

The feedback clearly shows that the progress made in the Wiesbaden bicycle infrastructure is well taken note of, but that there is still a high degree of uncertainty when cycling in local road traffic. The ADFC Wiesbaden / Rheingau-Taunus will shortly discuss this feedback and the available results of the bicycle climate test with the city of Wiesbaden and will also actively promote a safe bicycle infrastructure.
