Wiesbaden chooses — the VIDEO!

Local elections will take place on 15 March – mobility is also a focus of the election campaign in Wiesbaden. On 4 February 2026, the ADFC Bicycle Club together with Wiesbaden re-move, FUSS e.V. and the VCD invited to the ‘Party Check Transport Policy’. The spokespersons for mobility policy in the larger democratic town hall parties spoke in an innovative format about the "mobility of the future".

Since the event was so well attended that some interested parties could not attend, there is now a video documentation of the evening. Filmed and edited by videographer Yvonne Schulze.

Take a look at the record of the ‘Party Check’ of 4 February 2026. Experience how the mobility policy spokespersons of the CDU, SPD, Greens, FDP, Left and Volt defend their visions for Wiesbaden 2031 and where they set the priorities.

Highlights in the video

  • Expert input from Prof. Dr.-Ing. André Bruns (RheinMain University of Applied Sciences, Mobility management).
  • This “Money bag scenario”: For which project would the parties spend 100 million euros?
  • ‘Hotspot Hauptbahnhof’: What ideas are there for the transport hub?
  • This ‘mobilogram’ means:: Where do the parties position themselves on the theses of the associations?
  • The "Visionary headline" on mobility in Wiesbaden 2031

On the podium

  • Marc Dahlen, CDU
  • Silas Gottwald, SPD
  • Daniel Weber, Volt
  • Daniel Winter, The Left
  • Martin Kraft, Alliance 90/The Greens
