Wiesbaden, 29 January 2026 – On Sunday 15 March, the town council and the local advisory councils will be re-elected in Wiesbaden. This week, the ADFC Wiesbaden/Rheingau-Taunus published its interactive Wahl-o-Rad for Wiesbaden in order to give decision-making support and an overview of the goals of the parties, not only to its 1,400 members, but also to all bicycle-savvy voters.
In the run-up to the election, the ADFC Wiesbaden asked parties about their positions in the field of cycling. The answers received from nine parties can be compared with your own wishes with just a few clicks. Users can double-weight individual questions to highlight particularly important topics. In the end, the tool shows the individual agreement with the programs of the different parties.

"The local elections are a directional decision. It determines whether Wiesbaden stagnates in cycling or invests consistently in a modern, sustainable infrastructure", says Michéle Fleckenstein, spokeswoman for ADFC Wiesbaden. “We want to give all citizens an easy way to match their mobility needs with the demands of the different parties.”
